Knowledge Enterprise leadership
Hansa Magee leads Knowledge Enterprise Analytics and is responsible for reporting, data analysis and strategic decision support functions. She leads a team of business intelligence developers and analysts that create smart visualizations using Power BI and Tableau. The Analytics team also maintains data integrity and seeks to design sustainable solutions for accessing, using and analyzing research data obtained from the university’s data warehouses. The team also manages KE’s online analytical subscriptions, responds to the NSF HERD survey, provides training, and creates custom reports and analyses.
In addition to her role in the Knowledge Enterprise, Magee is a faculty associate in the College of Health Solutions. She actively mentors students pursuing training in informatics, and her role as an educator has included advising the Students of Biomedical Informatics (SoBMI) club, Barrett Honor’s College theses, and Biomedical Informatics B.S. and Health Informatics M.A. capstones.
Magee completed both her bachelor’s and doctorate degrees at Arizona State University, and she was an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and a Fulbright recipient. She enjoys reading, playing violin in her community orchestra, and being outdoors with her “pack.”
