A LEGACY OF DISCOVERY

From the mountains of Mars to vents on the deep ocean floor, Arizona State University researchers have explored far and wide over the past 20 years, when the university received a Research I designation from the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. The designation ranks ASU among a select group of universities for the volume and quality of our research efforts.
